Of all the video game movies to be this successful I’m surprised it was fucking Sonic. As a Sonic fan we barely even have good games these days. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, I’m just saying I’m surprised. The Sonic games have been plagued by poor decision making every other game for years and the movies almost went down the same path with their original rendering of Sonic. Being a Sonic fan is hard sometimes but these movies are a definite win for sure. Even if they were a 6/10 I’d call it a win when based off previous video game movies and actual Sonic the Hedgehog games.
