How much should I tip mages in Ogrimmar for food, drinks and ports?

I haven’t played since the first round for classic but the going rate was 1g for a trade’s worth of water/food and 1g for a port

At least 3 wolf pelts, but ideally give them a /train for 5 minutes straight.
3 bear flanks work too!
