    Office 365, which I refuse to use for my personal computer.

    I still use some Office apps from 2006 (Visio, Project) because they serve my personal needs.

    Work? That’s my employer’s problem.

      Isn’t using out-of-date apps a security vulnerability? Visio 2006 hasn’t received a security update since around 2012

        Sure, but if you’re not opening random untrusted files, or trying to browse the interwebs through it what’s the chance of there ever being an issue?

    People think it is a must have, but at some point I postponed getting office until I really needed, and use libreoffice meanwhile. It’s been years, and I still only have libreoffice installed.

      Me too, haven’t needed office for years. 99% of the time the end product needs to be a PDF anyway, which LibreOffice does an amazing job producing.

      I don’t have any office apps installed on my personal computers, and haven’t needed them in at least 6 years. Office apps are for office work, and I’m definitely not doing that for free on my own time and equipment.
