That was quick. Just yesterday, people on this site were telling me that Trump IS better for Palestine, because he already got a ceasefire (you know, ignoring that he’s not even president yet).

As if ceasefires have stopped these psychos before. People should know better, but I guess when you’re grasping at straws for any little scrap that you can hold up to say, “see I’m not a fucking idiot for voting for Jill Stein and tirelessly campaigning against Harris!” You just take what you can get. Should have at least waited a few days though…

This is by design. They are trying to use this process as a cover to continue to murder people.

Ngl I am 0% surprised by this. I’m more surprised at all the people who were like “yay they’re gonna do a ceasefire!” Like… what? That does not play into Bibi’s narrative at all. He wants to keep this going as long as possible.

Color me shocked. Shocked that anyone genuinely thought Bibi the bastard would allow a ceasefire.

I had a faint hope that Trump decided he wanted peacemaker credit and told Bibi it was over.

The day Israel is at peace is the day they throw Bibi out of power…

The only reason he’s still in office is he’s refusing to allow elections to be held.

So he’s not going to allow peace because an election will almost immediately follow, if he’s not in charge, he can’t stop his corruption trial. And he’s guilty as fuck so he’d go to jail.

No matter what happens, Bibi isn’t going to let it be peace.

They’re gonna have to kick him out of office first, hopefully straight into a jail cell.

Even when he is in charge, he can’t stop his corruption trial. Netenyahu began testifying mid December, and I believe is still expected to give further testimony. Currently, the trial is on hold due to a surgery, but should resume soon.

Him being PM definitely slows things down, but Israel has no problem trying an active head of state.

This is because he wants to be dictator for life and he can’t do it without war powers. The only reason I can see him agreeing to this is if he plans to keep going in Syria and maybe even start a war with Iran.

And you don’t have to take my word for it, ask his former best friend: https://www.jpost.com/israel-news/article-798324
