“Physically dragging out a reporter from the State Department briefing room while preaching press freedom to the rest of the world is the perfect example of the Biden administration’s love affair with double standards and duplicity,” said one foreign policy observer.

Blinken does not give a damn. It’s that simple.

How does it feel that you’re latching on to something 3 decades and 5 different admins too late to understand geopolitical machinations?

What are you hoping to change with such an outdated mode of comms? How is the world better after you have called half of it “zionists” and saying they’re all villains…

No one benefits when you call everyone villains…

Seems like, “gotcha journalism.” That first question was pretty good and I wonder if Blinken would have answered it if he had ever gotten the chance. The “journalist” barely had time to breathe while throwing out rapid fire questions then he just started in with the accusations.

I’m all for protesting and calling out this admin but anyone who expected a different outcome in this situation doesn’t understand how these briefings work.

It’s shameful to have reporters with emotions 'n stuff. The question should’ve been asked politely, softly, with a smile. Better yet, the question shouldn’t have been asked. Genocide is bad, certainly, but we must have good manners and proper decorum.

It’s really not, you’re right. Sometimes my snark and pessimism get the best of me, sorry.

I get it. We all do it.

Governments and corporations are killing us, en masse, and we rightly feel enraged about it. Tbf, I can see how I sounded a bit “this protest is pointless” which is not what I meant to do.

It was Blinken’s last briefing as Secretary. There will be no other opportunity to call out his enabling of the Gaza genocide.

Then maybe understand they weren’t expecting the questions to be answered.

I expect answers. I realize we won’t get them, but I expect them all the same.

            Biden, Blinkin. Congress.

They made all of us complicit in genocide and I demand answers.

Yes. It’s going to be worse under trump.
