So that person made something up … and then the made up thing gave her trauma. And then she is worried about the backlash for making things up and complaining about the trauma is experienced for thinking of a made up thing.

OK, but that means I can get no-hassle government funding and legal protections for a church of people who believe in free abortions and weed, no? Or maybe a church for gun control measures and simplified public assistance? DEI and minority rights? Church of Saint Luigi? This is what really annoys me about these people. Separation of church and state is a good thing because it underpins freedom of religion. These people are dense enough to assume that it’ll be their church calling the shots and not somebody elses (and considering how many denominations of protestant Christianity there are, it will more likely than not be one that they disagree with). They only want a theocracy if it’s their specific flavour of theocracy.
