I have endometriosis and it seems like growths are coming back only two years after removal. My specialist is just going to do a hysterectomy to nip the issue in the bud.
I’m so happy that I could cry. I’ve wanted one for so long and I’m finally getting it!
I was so close to canceling my appointment today because I missed so much work already this week. So glad I didn’t!
Yay you!
Hope it all goes smoothly and that you get some relief.
Thank you!
Congrats! My wife just had that done last week. Recovery hasn’t been too bad to be honest - night in the hospital as planned (which included some post-anesthesia nausea) and she’s been sleeping a lot more. Oh, and she has to be careful about lifting and stuff. But overall we’re excited for what’s to come!
Glad to hear her recovery is going well! I thankfully won’t have to miss more than a couple of days of work because I can work from home from the comfort of my bed, which is awesome.
I know somebody with endometriosis and remember her describing what it was like. Congrats on the good news!
Thank you! Endo is the worst.
I have to admit I got a little jealous 😭
Good job! I’m glad that you could get one! It gives me a little hope as well
If you need a Dr recommendation, feel free to dm me!
In the past there was just way too many doctors who didn’t understand women’s bodies and would jump directly to this. It’s kinda swung the other direction though where they’re less inclined to do this procedure; but in some cases it’s absolutely needed. Glad to see you’re getting the medical care you deserve.
I’ve had so many people tell me that I’ll change my mind about kids and to think of my future partners. Kids are a NO and if someone I’m interested in wants kids, that’s a deal breaker. It’s so fucking dumb how obsessed with children people are. Glad my Dr listens to me.
