I accidentally cut my thumb with a peeler while preparing lunch. I cleaned my work area, cleaned the wound, and put a bandage on my thumb to stop the bleeding. It didn’t stick to my skin very well, so I used another bandage to secure the bandage. They are a value brand I got on sale a few years ago, so I’m grateful for my economical decisions.
The cut stings a bit, but I’ll be okay. It’s my non-dominant hand.
I don’t believe this will prevent me from other activities I have planned for this weekend.
I don’t think I have used a bandage in years. Gauze and medical tape are superior in every way except convenience.
You are correct. My thumb was bleeding so I reached for the first thing I had. I purchased two boxes of generic bandages through a buy one get one sale years ago. It was a good deal.
In 2031 when I have used up the bandages, I will check out gauze and medical tape. I think they may be a more thrifty decision with better results.
You get injured far lighter and less often than I do. Some would call you safer, I say you are just better at making good decisions.
Sharpen that peeler!
Good advice. I will add this to the list of activities I plan to do this weekend.
Not a bad time to check your lawnmower blades if your in the northern hemisphere.
It is good to be safe. I will check these blades, too.
Preventable accidents can happen. The peeler accident has concerned me. I should look after my safety and well-being. On Tuesday when the businesses reopen, I will check insurance coverage and make sure that everything is in order for my beneficiaries.
