the only thing mine hunt is the food bowl and even then, they’re not successful without my help. lol
I have two cats. One is actually a pretty good hunter. She hunts insects mostly since we don’t have mice and will eat them. The most impressive things she hunts are flies. I’ve seen her jump very high for them.
The other cat only does it for entertainment. He just likes to watch them and occasionally toy with them but he’ll just leave them when he gets bored.
you’re lucky; mine are little more than feet & lap warmers who shed all over the house and wake me up at 4am with their zoomies. lol
