An asbestos test is cheaper than realising you fucked up. There’s also a lot more PPE needed than gloves and N95 masks.
Not that I’d recommend yolo’ing it, but from what I understand, a one time exposure like this probably won’t affect you. It’s more about exposure over time
That is not how asbestos removal is done. At least not if you want to avoid asbestosis. Hell no.
I’ve removed a few of these floors. It sucks. And yes supposedly the glue they used has asbestos in it.
