Five bucks says that the guy who didn’t vote for Ichiro didn’t hand out 10 votes, and that the snub is purely because they don’t believe anyone should be unanimous.
CC was already a HoFer in my heart. Didn’t know his stats stacked up so well against other lefty starters already in the hall though. Don’t think we’ll see another 3k strikeout pitcher for a while, if ever.

Wagner was off my radar, but just based on stats I’m not super impressed? Like, I understand relievers aren’t held to the same standard as SPs, and a 2.3 career ERA is damn good… But half as much bWAR as Mariano? How is that not Hall of Very Good material?
Like Adam Wainwright, who won’t even whiff the hall, provided more WAR in half the games just by eating innings…
He’s 8th in overall career saves. That’s pretty elite.
