Most recently I listened to the complete album “The Dark Side of the Moon” multiple times due to a misunderstanding about an emoji, buy otherwise i have been listening to Les Big Byrd, Mazzy Star, Molchat Doma. Mazzy Star is probably closest to what you shared, but certainly not the same. I was cleaning out my folks basement over Xmas and ran across some of my old compact discs , including some Townes Van Zandt. Looking forward to getting into those!

I’ve been listening to a ton of Sleep Token. I don’t really follow the cult lore around them, but the music is fantastic.

That album came out the year I graduated high school. Polaris, as in the Polaris that sings Hey Sandy from the intro to “The Adventures of Pete and Pete”?

All their albums from that kind of era are pretty great!

I have no idea as I dont know the show or that song. They are metalcore though so if hey sandy is a metalcore song then maybe?

That fatalism album is the first stuff I have heard from them :)

I’ve now moved onto the masterpiece that is Untrue by Burial though :D

I think it’s different band then. This is more in the style of The Pixies or something more folkish.

Yeh definitely not then, this Polaris is fairly heavy with both clean and screamy vocals, good riffs, makes you wanna stomp.
