How much would it cost to get the space up to code? Now that they have some publicity, if seems like the church should fundraise off of it, and retrofit their space to comply with the code. Everyone wins!
This is assuming the city is doing this in good faith, and not selectively enforcing the code harshly to punish the homeless. This is Ohio, after all…
I bet you if they get everything to code, the city will find a whole new problem to go after them for
hating the poor is the MO of the ruling class and the goverment they control.
