Are you a #filmmaker using #kdenlive? Let us know about your project!
Regardless of whether you are working on making shorts with your mates, features or corporate ads, online or TV shows or music videos, we want to see and promote them all!
We are building a showreel made up of clips from projects edited with Kdenlive. We aim to encourage more artists to move beyond expensive, closed systems to a free way of making movies.
Help us help the next generation of filmmakers! #videoediting @kde
@kdenlive We have created a 5 hours long documentary (4 parts) entirely with Kdenlive. Took us 2-3 years, and 3.3 terabytes of project files. Some 40 hours of 4k footage edited.
And we posted it all for free - tromsite.com/documentaries/tro… - streaming from or own Peertube instance.

I think this is a clear demonstration of what can be done with Kdenlive.
@kdenlive @kde All my music videos are edited with kdenlive e.g. this one: https://tube.tchncs.de/w/wrmePsmKAF1qHY3sLFFDzT
Wow, looks pretty amazing…did not know Kdenlive is able to do such things
I created a lyric video for my band a few years ago with kdenlive. As someone who has practically no experience with video software beyond windows movie maker
I use Kdenlive whenever I need to create a video for work:

Would not consider myself a filmmaker at all. But I use it to make some tutorials that I record with OBS for a wiki.
I also use it to make quick and dirty skit shorts that I put on various platforms.
I used it reedit evil dead 1,2 and army of darkness into a massive super cut
