Not sure what the point of the reloaded is since the original wasn’t very good to begin with, but is available.
That said I’d love for nightdive to tackle FEAR
The original 1998 Quake 2 engine one didn’t suck; the second one, the Source engine, episodic one, did. And if they’re remaking the second one, maybe the idea is to fix that. Take the good ideas it had and build a much better game around it.
But I’m pretty sure they’re remaking the first one.
Maybe that’s what I’m remembering. I thought the levels were way too big
FEAR 1 is still pretty playable and looks half decent, though I wouldn’t mind especially if they did something about the office building part of the game. That part lasted far too long.
I just want FEAR with the nightdive treatment. Achievements, HD, widescreen - all that good stuff!
Oh well, at least the ROTT remaster finally came out.
