The U.S. military is providing facilities at Buckley Space Force Base in Colorado for Immigration and Customs Enforcement to process detained migrants. That’s according to a spokesperson for the U.S. Northern Command, who told CBS News the request came from the Department of Homeland Security.

No military personnel will be involved in the ICE operations, according to a statement provided by the U.S. Northern Command.

In regards to Buckley Space Force Base, USNORTHCOM released the following statement:

At the request of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), USNORTHCOM is providing facilities at Buckley Space Force Base beginning on January 27, 2025, to enable U.S Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to stage and process criminal aliens within the U.S. for an operation taking place in Colorado. Military personnel are not involved in this operation.

ICE requirements for the facility include a temporary operations center, staging area, and a temporary holding location for the receiving, holding, and processing of illegal aliens. This facility will be manned by ICE senior leaders, special agents, and analysts, as well as members of DHS Components and other federal law enforcement agencies.

On Tuesday CBS News confirmed that the Denver metro area will be the next target for stepped-up arrests ICE has been conducting since the start of the Trump administration.

So we’re gonna concentrate the detained migrants and camp them here until their transportation is ready? Nothing to see here folks…

Just like in Auschwitz, where they were promised a shower before they would be transported for resettlement somewhere in the east…

…and so the first concentration camp was opened.

But I am sure people will continue to say that won’t happen even as they are put in there like cattle.

And I’m sure people will continue to tell people not to rise up against their insane leaders and do bad things to them because violence isn’t the answer, meanwhile people will be dying in these places but that’s apparently okay as long as we all stay nice and civil. We need reform! Policy changes! Polite conversation! Nonviolent demonstrations! All the things they will most certainly not ignore completely! Heck, let’s not shop for a day! Except of course if we really need to or they have a sale.

Well they sure aren’t going to be able to vote their way out of a concentration camp.

Let’s all quit our jobs and live on the street in protest, instead of rising up and holding people accountable. Civil disobedience is far more effective than implementing a guillotine solution. Expressing our feelings is sure to change the minds of magalomaniacs. ;)

‘Space Force to detain illegal aliens’ was the title the author should have used. Also, this is fucked up.

Concentration camp at a Space Force Base? What are they going to do with those people? Shoot them to the Moon or Mars as guinea pigs for Musk’s plans?

Honestly I would rather have the military doing the work than ICE. At least the military generally follows the law (generally, except for stuff like My Lai and Abu Ghraib). The rank-and-file didn’t join to be Gestapo like ICE agents do.

No, I get what they’re saying. A lot of the veterans I know think that cops are totally out of control. The military is, relatively speaking, a little less likely to be as horrible as possible about this. It still shouldn’t be happening.

Sure, that seems to be true at the moment. But the military won’t be the same in the (near) future, as purging the military is just another point in their Project2025. It’s authoritarian 101.

Yeah, I know. Honest question, and don’t doxx yourself, are you doing anything about it? I’m trying to build resilience in my community by organizing locally.

Deporting all the aliens from the space force base. I get it, they’re finally admitting that extraterrestrial life exists.
