One day an up and coming tv newscaster gets pressed into playing a part in a variety show, and as he’s arguing with its writer he has an accident. Next thing he knows he can’t hold back saying what’s on his mind.

From there he finds himself confiding in and working with the writer to try to figure out how to work with his new condition. Gradually they fall for one another, and to his surprise he remains and becomes even more successful than he was before.

It’s a pretty charming show with an interesting angle on the stresses of socially masking to make one’s way through life.
