I’m pretty sure that Mike Pence as Governor of Indiana also got rid of HIV information on their sites which lead to a massive increase in HIV cases. So that’s something to look forward to country wide now.
Republicans will do the best to ensure no one knows the extent of it, or of the epidemics of measles, polio, bird flu, COVID, whooping cough, tuberculosis, etc.
He also ended a very effective needle exchange program.
Really mirroring Russia I see. Trump wants his own AIDS epidemic apparently.

And fucking all the other people in the process. In 2018, every hour there were ten more people being infected with HIV in Russia.
Trump suspended a bunch of US AID people and ordered the (effectively) head of HR to fire them. The HR guy refused, reversed the suspensions, and was fired as he knew he would be. That is how bureaucrats should be resisting. Especially the CDC, whose entire job is to inform the country about how to prevent diseases.
Finally, the scourge of AIDS is over… wait, it’s back?
