First the Jan. 6 Database, now CDC content… They’re just going to try to erase any and all information they don’t like, hmm? I hope every agency has everything quadruple backed-up at the very least.

I view myself as pretty level headed and skeptical of conspiratorial thinking, but I’m beginning to wonder the same thing.
Project 2025 was no conspiracy theory, it’s their literal playbook.
I’m specifically talking about the DoS/hacks/lawsuits against the Internet Archive, not anything about Project 2025.

This part. This is the part that makes me think “He needs a break.” And again, I say that as someone who also needs a break.
Maybe that’s projection. I don’t know. All I know is this is the first week that has left me seriously thinking about just deleting all my accounts, taking a break from the doom scrolling, and waiting for the dust to settle. The unproductive, bad faith, aggressive discourse on top of what is actually happening is mentally and physically exhausting.
You’re still putting your time and energy into emigrating, right? That’s got to be an exhausting process for a whole family to handle as it is.
I implore you, seriously. Take a few days away from being terminally online. “Flood the zone” is in full effect right now. This is the part where they’re purposefully wearing us down. Save some of that energy for later.

Like Hitler, he doesn’t understand genetics and that two healthy people can produce offspring that has issues. Genetics isn’t perfect, “mistakes” get made.
Further, two healthy intelligent adults does not automatically beget a child who is a healthy and intelligent. Nor do two unintelligent parents automatically beget unintelligent children. (Ask me how I know the second one)

Trump was definitely the kind of kid that hid his trash behind his built into the wall shelves, and never got busted for it… He seriously thinks if we simply don’t know about a virus, we won’t be concerned with it, forget all the people dying, forget the over flowing ER’s, there is no new virus threatening the world… Dudes seriously worse than just dim. He should have learned his lesson and made sure disease control was in tip top shape… After all, wet markets still exist around the globe… Covid part 2 ain’t some pie in the sky impossibility. To clarify, the Wuhan lab leak got into the wet market, but the wet market is where it took hold. This could happen again, lab leaks happen all the time, just this one got into a wet market.

It hasn’t been confirmed. The closest it’s gotten to being confirmed is the CIA saying it is a “low confidence” hypothesis, and only that after Trump took office.

What was once up can return, and I don’t think a blackout of information over 4 years will matter that much long term (people have other sources for correct HIV prevention information, for instance).
It is more concerning how unequipped we’ll be during the next pandemic since our agencies are cutting ties to international allies to help track illnesses. If it’s like the first time, it’ll suck although at least it’ll kill off his followers in higher numbers than innocent people.
