While coke is probably perfectly effective, homemade sugar-water also works great and is much cheaper.
It’s about plausible deniability. If someone gets caught with a bottle of sugar water, there’s a lot less wiggle room. Because why the hell would you be randomly carrying a bottle of sugar water, unless it was a soda?
Put it in a sprite bottle? Or something coloured, like mountain dew.
