This is actually awesome. At this point, the only thing that could save the world from fascism is a speedrun crippling the government and economy so severely that every American feels pain.

The majority are too ignorant, brainwashed, and stupid to learn from history, so a kick in the teeth is our only hope.

People give accelerationists shit, but one of the reasons Hitler remained in power and was popular is he stopped Germany’s hyper inflation.

Yes the sooner people can realize that Trump is doing this to them, and that all his promises are just straight up BS, the sooner people can tackle the disease that Trump is the symptom of: American greed, egoism and xenophobia.

    Ramifications:

Why tariffs on Mexico and Canada could drive up grocery costs, in 3 charts

    https://www.cnn.com/2025/02/01/us/food-prices-tariffs-trump-dg/index.html

“The two countries supply a significant share of several key food categories. For example, Mexico is the largest supplier of fruit and vegetables to the US, while Canada leads in exports of grain, livestock and meats, poultry and more.”

Tariffs will halt North American auto production and trigger layoffs: Linamar

"Ms. Hasenfratz said the costs of the tariffs will be borne by her customers — car makers — who require highly specialized components. It can take 12 to 18 months to source and engineer alternative parts, she said in an interview.

“It would just create an exorbitant amount of cost, and our customers can’t afford to absorb that,” Ms. Hasenfratz said in an interview Saturday. “Consumers certainly aren’t going pay it, so demand will disintegrate. So in my opinion, it wouldn’t be more than a week before we would see vehicle production in North America grind to a halt, and that means millions of people laid off, the majority of which would be in the U.S., and I can’t see how that’s a good thing for America.”"
