In the migration from Reddit to Lemmy, I noticed there was no equivalent to r/OutreachHPG here. Because of this I made my own community.
I figure there’s probably some overlap between fans of the tabletop games and the Mechwarrior video games so I figured I would share it here.
With Lemmy being a smaller community I figured it made sense to keep the focus fairly broad so any mech game is welcome to be discussed.

As the mod here, I am going to take some time soon and ask the community if we want to include mechwarrior as part of this community, as its (mostly) cannon.

With lemmy being a smaller community I felt a broader focus was necessary. I figured other mech games could be included and it would make the sub thrive a little more. Additionally I’m not in leadership of OutreachHPG and it felt like I was sort of stealing it if I just tried to transfer it here.
Anyway, that’s the logic. We’ll see if it pans out. So far I haven’t seen many posts there so the audience probably isn’t there but I’ll give it some time.
