I see this as making things simple for the dumb ones…they update history link is literally on the page already. People who don’t care to click 1 link to see the last updates and timeframes, will mostly likely also not read and still get annoyed/pissed they bought off impulse instead of reading.

Doesn’t affect me in any way having this, other then more visual clutter on the home page. I’m still going to always check the actual update history for substance because all they need to do, is make 1 tiny ass ‘bug fix’ that does nothing and the entire banner thing they will make is rendered useless.
