I hate that these links never work.
It’s a glitch with the Lemmy system. I have to format them like that to get them to display in the post. If you right click on them and open in a new tab then they open full size.
No, I mean catbox links literally will not open on anything I try. Once, months ago, I saw like… the third jpg in an 8-pic gallery.
Ahh. OK. So I used to have the same problem and it was to do with the DNS server I had set. I changed to cloudflare and they showed up. Just to be clear I am not affiliated with Cloudflare in any way I am just telling you what worked for me.
Yup, still just erroring out or refusing to resolve properly. But switching from OpenDNS to cloudflare did speed up my phone a smidge. So, thanks! Further testing needed on my PCs to make sure it’s not placebo effect.
Pity that it hasn’t solved your catbox problem but hopefully it’s done you some good.
