I feel like most people who get their news primarily through Facebook, are horribly misinformed.

So maybe this is a good thing?

It is a good thing. Facebook was fun when it was about sharing what’s going on with you with your family and friends. Now it’s just a bottomless shithole where everybody argues about dumb shit.

Get your news from the news. Set up an RSS feed to get your news.

I remember when people would always complain that Facebook was just pictures of people’s kids. I miss that. I want to see pictures of your kids, pets, travels, meals, whatever else you want to share of your life. I don’t want to see whatever propaganda or rage bait you’ve fallen for most recently.

back then people were getting depressed because they were comparing their real life with everyones highlight reel. i remember when people communicated 1 on 1 instead of via public announcement.

Yeah, I miss when there was a social media site that catered to just people you know. Just friends and family.

good riddance, Facebook, along with the other social medias, seems to think they’re way more essential than they actually are. The actual underlying thing people care about is the internet and each other, not fucking Facebook lol
