That top hat guy is massive if that’s a regular elephant
That does not look like a regular elephant. At least the ones I’ve seen aren’t green with a tightly-wound spring for a trunk.
This is actually Noo-Noo outside of his armour
I love these. During Ghana’s series of military govermments through the 70s and 80s, import laws made it functonally impossible to get printing presses into the country. Ghanaian cinemas, undeterred, did all their posters by hand instead https://www.dannydutch.com/post/bizarre-movie-posters-from-africa-that-are-so-bad-they-re-good
Absolutely beautiful.
A story of a spy and his lover suffering from a fish allergy induced angioedema and their race against time to find the nearest doctor.
Reminds me of Polish posters: https://sabukaru.online/articles/the-insane-history-of-polish-movie-posters
It’s fascinating how many of these use obscured or distorted faces as a main element
My all-time favorite one is an entire distorted human:
It is very strange and consistent to the point that there had to be a reason why. Perhaps they were all done by the same artist, and that was their thing.
It’s like they got all the way through “Elephant” before they realized that “Man” wouldn’t work to balance the title on either side of the top hat, so they just tossed it on.
