He criticized KG for publicly wishing the Trump shooter doesn’t miss the next time. It chapped a lot of asses. I don’t blame JB. He’s a public figure with a family. I wouldn’t let someone else put a target on my kids’ backs, even the silver-fingered Rage Kage.
Give me a break. Tell that to John Lennon, dimebag Daryl, etc… if some whacko is gonna get you they are gonna get you. Always the cowards with “somebody think of the children” excuse. Don’t you think “apologizing for a bad joke” is more appropriate than ending a friendship and destroying a band? You probably think Luigi is guilty.
Take a minute to think about what happened. This wasn’t Jack’s message, and they didn’t discuss it beforehand. Kyle made a public statement right in front of Jack that could be grounds for charges of inciting violence, or provoke a MAGA nutjob to take aim at them.
Kids are not an excuse, they’re a responsibility. You see the world and your life’s value very differently when someone else’s life depends on your own.
This isn’t high school. Jack’s boat wasn’t Kyle’s to rock. Kyle admitted as much when he apologized as well.
Have you listened to the lyrics to tedious D-? I’ll wait while you Google “city hall” then you can tell me what an upstanding pillar of the community he is.
I’ve been listening to the D since their HBO specials in the 90s. City Hall is a great example of how they can send a message of resistance to government oppression without explicitly directing an assassination.
Choose money over a lifelong friendship, due to a joke. The guy who sings “City Hall” about starting a riot and burning buildings, and countless other drival for songs.
I see. You’re referring to last year, when Kyle Gass made an improved joke about the Trump shooting and Jack Black cancelled the rest of the TenD tour, I assume. I just read about it now; missed that last year.
