I read that she was a midfielder at college and was in the NWSL draft as one. Gotham converted her to LB. Her versatility in this regard was also mentioned as one of her key qualities when her transfer was announced. It allows McCabe to be used as a wide forward without losing the LB bring able to move into a midfield position.
