    A while back I saw a Gemini ad in a cinema. It was absolutely amazing and I have no idea how anyone could have signed off on that.

    It was people doing every day things and asking Gemini for help. But Gemini said absolutely nothing of importance.

    My favourite two scenes:

    1. some guy is cooking shakshuka. He asks Gemini, how can I make the recipe better? Gemini says, if you add habaneros it will be spicier. Guy is nodding in awe.

    2. a dude is under his car, comes out and asks Gemini, how do I get those screws out? Gemini serves wisdom again by explaining that he will need a screwdriver with the right size. Dude is looking enlightened.

      I swear I saw a commercial recently that I think must have been mocking the one you’re describing. I wish I could remember what it was for so I could check.

      I swear I have seen a streaming one that I think was gemini and it was like a girl who was oh no I have an interview in 5 mins and gemini like summarized a paper about what she should know for the job. its sorta hilarious in a way.

    I thought everyone was about LLMs only copying the Internet, so how was this not one of those cases where it really just copied the Internet? Super strange article.
