Fascinating. It seems to suggest that a solarpunk-style economy is an economic inevitability. (Since fossil fuels will become more expensive and current renewables are too resource+energy intensive, the only economically viable way out will be lower-tech, renewable solutions.)
So what they are saying is that in the future there will be a market for solutions that offer to do the same things as today but with fewer resources?
pretending to avert collapse is no longer profitable.
