A lot of people don’t realize just how huge moose are. I learned that the hard way when mine got far too big for me to mount so I could ride it everywhere.
Came here to say all this stuff - one of the few megafauna left in North America. Very large. Very fast. Will stomp and gore you until you are dead and it will hurt the entire time you are dying. That said, I want more megafauna back. How cool would it be to see a giant tree sloth in your pine tree,Ora mastodon on I-95.

To be fair, I’ve seen (and eaten) more than a few moose, but that’s a big fucking bull moose.
Everyone involved in that picture is too close to that moose.
