Again, hard to choose, but I think stick shifts and safety belts… it’s such a good well rounded song that I always enjoy listening to.

So good. There are more Motorcade of Generosity fans here than I expected.

Not a hidden gem or anything but I’ve always liked “Friend is a Four Letter Word”

Very tough choice, but I think either Frank Sinatra or Long Line of Cars.

26 years and The Distance is never skipped when it pops up on the radio or playlist. L

It’s funny you say that. I would say the same, but for probably 10 plus years, short skirt long jacket was an instant skip for me… I don’t know if it was due to being played so much or what… But I always loved the distance. Probably nostalgia held it together.

My spouse and I danced to their cover of Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps at our wedding.

My wife and I love that song too. One of my favorite songs to play for her on the guitar. Right up there with Mexico.

It’s funny as CAKE seems to be one of the few bands I can think of that I truly feel I like just about every single one of their songs. Choosing a favorite is a bit like pulling a name out of a hat, but you just get slightly more excited about a few of them.

Loved that they played Pentagram on their recent tour. Really great song that I thought might not be played due to content… like playing “I bombed Korea”
