Translation: as Trump and Vance create tensions with close allies.
He added: “I’ve heard a lot about what you need to defend yourselves from and of course, that’s important. But what has seemed a little bit less clear to me … is what exactly you’re defending yourselves for?”
The God given right not to be like you.
I’m not saying I want this to happen, but I wonder if having Trump, Vance and Musk around becomes such an issue that a different country decides that they’re a national security threat and decides that they must be “removed”…
I think it’ll be the US military or one of the intelligence agencies who takes on that job.
Would be the surprise of the century if firing all those seasoned FBI and CIA agents actually made intelligence gathering less effective.
Much as I kind of wish the US would be overtaken by a european nation or Canada. Unfortunately it’s the problem of how military progress has happened since WW2. AKA the US military is scaled up enough to basically make the USA vs “Every nation of the world suddenly decided to gang up and attack the US at the same time”… is an even match.
Which in and of itself is terrifying to me, that we let that happen. I mean realistically what is more likely to happen in history… 1 crazy leader goes tyranical… many groups need to get together to stop it. Or… every nation in the world goes insane at the same time, one powerful nation that still holds it’s sanity needs to snap them all out of it.
In short IMO a long time ago the world should have done a "OK look, it’s not good for one guy to be too much stronger than everyone else. We need to start a pact where, say the US starts trading it’s weapons to 10 or more countries… so that theoretically a 5 vs 1… should be a guaranteed victory for the 5.
Bet no one saw that one coming, World War III is everyone versus an insane America.
Not just America I’d wager.
Sorry I wasn’t saying that there should be open war. I mean like, I don’t know, what if Trump and Musk both happen to get some sorta serious food poisoning while visiting the G8 Summit or something. Wouldn’t that suck?

I wouldn’t be surprised that in a year, the US loses half of their allies because of this idiot.
That’s his goal. He’s still a Russian stooge. Weakening Western alliances benefits Putin’s imperialist ambitions.
It won’t take a year, and it will be more than just half.
