Yes. Why would you look for joy in war and poverty? Sounds pretty detrimental.
The point is,how can I be happy when there’s at least one person in the world suffering? Like me being happy will just not fix all the world’s problems. It seems rather selfish to be happy in a world where not everyone is. If you’re happy then you’re ok with the state of the world which is war and poverty
That sounds like you may need to see a doctor. It sounds more like clinical depression.
This is not a healthy way to approach the world and won’t help anyone, including you or the people you’re talking about.
