I wish I could have the same hope as Bernie. I really don’t think any Republicans give a single flying fuck about what their constituency thinks, and they will rubber-stamp whatever they are told to pass. He’s certainly right that the Dems in Washington aren’t going to get us out of this situation though, apparently the biggest result all my rep calls have had is getting Dems to complain about their call volume.

Bernie Sanders is a national treasure. Imagine how great it would be if we had 1000 Bernie Sanders.
