    Trump just couldn’t resist the urge to, unprompted, surrender everything he had first. They haven’t even started the card game yet.

    My favourite three:

    1. Migrants feed the US. He’s scaring them all off from going to work or physically removing them without any system to have anyone replace them.

    2. He’s trying to scare us here in Canada with tariffs. We also supply them a bunch of crude oil and potash(for farming) and they’d be in shit without us. Lumber, too, I think.

    3. He’s threatening companies like TSMC with tariffs on semi-conductors and then saying that if they make stuff in the US they won’t need to pay extra. But right away it’s obvious that he needs them more they need him, and the money will still just go to foreign executives at the end of the day.

    He’s so bad at making deals, so bad at putting himself in advantageous positions. It’s mind-boggling that there are people who can’t see that.

    TIL Card Sharp. I’ve always heard Card Shark but apparently that’s more commonly used in American English.
