I’m starting this forum because I haven’t seen one dedicated to alternative photography on here yet. I’ve been consumed by several alternative photography techniques and not actually mastered anything as of yet. But I am having a lot of fun doing this.

To start with everyone should try Cyanotypes. I’ve seen so much nice work around cyanotypes, its awesome. In addition the main “types” being gum and carbon transfer would be the other two main topics. But I haven’t made a “good” anything on gum or carbon and it has been an entire year of almost daily experimentation. I’ve been to all the other forums where it is uncertain if the forum will be there 20 years from now. So I would like to land here and try to gather interested people who want to come talk and also maybe mirror this forum.

So I had started a subreddit about keitrucks on reddit and it was cool. I grew the place, bringing people who were midly interested until it basically took off. Then reddit IP/region banned me and that left a sour taste. I can’t even go there and delete the idiotic things I say on a daily basis. I want this new adventure to be different. I want to see if we can start something here and keep it going for as long as all of us are interested.
