It sounds from other speculation that this is way below Brentford’s valuation, but if he only wants us then I guess it’s this price or him leaving on a free transfer
I’m glad we’re starting so low. I was very worried about the prospect of meeting their 40M valuation (according to the price they quoted Sp*rs a few months ago), but this is much more palatable. If we can keep it under 25M, I’d be impressed and much happier.
Yep, Brentford have not got a lot of room for negotiating here. He’s on his last year and will go for Free next season, probably to us. Even if we wait until January the price will be even lower. With Turner looking like leaving for around 10 Million we’ll have some funds for this.
That’s a pretty reasonable bid for our needs but I doubt they take it lol. I hope we don’t go past 30 though.
