To the entitled, equality feels like oppression. Affirmative action leveled the playing field for those who were victims of generational system oppression.
With the current Ames SCOTUS case, I think we’re heading for a “fairness over equity” court system. Life is about to get a lot scarier for minority and (previously) protected classes.
Nonono don’t you see? As the benefactor of oppression, you would be oppressing me by mitigating those privileges. Two wrongs don’t make a right so we now need to accept that the damage is done and just accept the world where white cis het men just have more safety, status and options.

Since Bezos recently ordered WaPo’s editorial board to defend the free market maybe someone could ask them if Trump ordering a company to adhere to political policies is truly indicative of a “free” market?
