Highlights:

• HOMEALONE was nicely clued, I thought
• Enjoyed the puns on MOTHERSUPERIOR and PATERNITY TESTS
• Wonder if this is the first time that BITTORRENT has made it into the crossword?
• The MASH reference for CPL helped to amp up the difficulty on a piece of crosswordese while adding a little more flair
• ONTIPPYTOE was sort of fun

Not much to nitpick

• Had a hard time with YEAHWHYNOT. At various times had WELLWHYNOT, SUREWHYNOT, OKAYWHYNOT. Definitely contributed to my difficulty getting a foothold in the northwest.
• NODEAR was pretty bland, both as an answer and in the cluing
• Pretty sure that it was the WWF, not the WWE, when Triple H and the Ultimate Warrior were wrestling, at least at their peaks. Made it hard to get 6 down until I finally gave in and entered the “wrong” (anachronistic) acronym.

Had BUGS bunny in there for the longest time which really tripped me up. PATERNITYTESTS was pretty funny. I thought that BitTorrent was just a client for torrenting, but apparently it’s a protocol as well!
