TL;DW:
- “Frontier Fighters were specifically designed to show players the we can mess with their morals via this narrative storytelling.”
- Next chapter in March will be called “Supply or Die”.
- It’ll be a one-shot, available for limited time in March.
- There will be 6 new locations added with this event (bigger - outposts and smaller - depots).
- Missions will be available for Citizens For Prosperity or Head Hunters.
- Scavengers from Ghost Arenas took over the depots and offer special cargo.
- Depots are intended as PvP hot-spots.
- Cargo missions will require new commodity, bought from depots with your own money.
- Mining missions will require 2 commodities: ice and tin.
- Salvage missions will require: RMC (from hull scraping) or structure material (from munching).
- These missions will have secondary reward system: farm tickets for unique rewards.
- They’re are taking steps to move away from reward splitting, these new missions will be a first indication of the direction they’re taking.
- Rewards will scale with the size of group intended for each mission (small for solo, medium for 4-6, large 10+ players).
- In the future rewards will scale dynamically to your group.
- February missions are extended until the end of March.
I’m gonna be honest, I’m not a fan of FOMO events in general but doing them during an alpha, when many people can’t even play (properly or at all) is special kind of evil. I just hope people have fun with it.

Agreed. It sounded like they were passing this off as a win, but I hope they’ll take a look at the top comments, or see Morphologis’ recent video and realize they need to make some changes.
I like the idea of what they are doing and what they want to do, but the fact that this round of phases (and their rewards) are ending before we get some much needed fixes is rediculous.
They should have spent time fixing up the biggest event issues before moving on: Hangar Elevators preventing players from getting to their ships, falling through the planet at outposts, NPCs failing to spawn (ships and FPS), unroutable quantum markers to a location million+ meters from anything else, etc.
I finally finished all of the event missions last night, but everything added up to a frustrating experience.
It’s especially annoying considering just a few videos ago they talked how the missions made during this period won’t be one time things and will come back after launch. It really feels like there’s a serious communication issue inside the company (and has been for years).
I too hope they’ll take a look at the reactions and course correct but my expectations are limited. Please prove me wrong CIG.
the victory lap on this episode was completely unearned
