I think the visuals have a lot of charm. I kind of love these smaller games where I don’t feel like I have some big commitment if I go in.

Thanks for the share. I’ll check out the demo for sure.

where I don’t feel like I have some big commitment if I go in.

This is so important for me, these days. I used to be able to drop an entire weekend in Destiny, to the dismay of my wife; now I’m more selective about how many of the hours of my life I spend unproductively moving pixels around on a screen.

Factorio is my current weakness. So easy to get into; so easy to lose entire days to. I’m really happy with the Space Age upgrade, because it’s self-limiting. EE except for Vulcanis, the other planets are a lot harder to make progress on, and without that constant dopamine fix I only go in one a week for a couple of hours now.

New low poly visuals. The music also seems quite nice. This whole game was made by one solo indie developer. No reviews yet, but a demo is available to play. With an introductory price of C$16.19, this is slightly expensive for what it is. However, if you like the demo, it’s worth checking out.

Is this a bot? We’re just filling my feed with random new games now?

Nope, not a bot. You’ve spoken to me a few times.

These are not “random” but games I think deserve attention.

Do you realize 20K games were released on Steam last year but few of them were ever noticed?

I also know you’re not a bot because I actually remember you from Mastodon from a few years ago! I saw your profile pic and name, and a flood of memories came back 😄… I should get back into Mastodon

Edit: actually also from Calckey or Firefish or whatever it was called that imploded one day

        Yeah that’s precisely my point.

What makes them not random? Did you play them personally? You said there were no reviews.

What makes them not random is that I find them interesting. That is, I think they’re worth talking about.

Some of them I have played personally, even if just for a few seconds. Others, I played the demo. And yet others, I have wishlisted and may buy later.

I currently have 6,881 games in my Steam account, so believe me, I play a lot of games.

If your “point” is that we should not give space to indie games because there’s lots of them, you’re mistaken. And if you don’t like indie games, even though PC gaming is mostly about indie gaming, block me and move on. I don’t give a damn about your “feed”.

            Based on what? The description?

If your “point” is that we should not give space to indie games because there’s lots of them, you’re mistaken.

My “point” is if I want a feed of random new games, there’s a list for that on Steam. I come here for a curated feed of interesting content. But I’ll go ahead and take your advice, thanks.
