    God, they’re even more adorable than their parents! Not all young bird species can claim that.

    Now I have to find fledgling WFS pictures.

    Dang it. Saw Whet wins again.

    Although, I did come across this impressive defensive posture!

    But at least it’s not this face, that only a mother could love (unknown species)

      Baby Saw Whets are criminally cute. I like all the babies, but the SW is something else.

      Your mystery pic is supposedly a Javan Scops according to a Pinterest post. All the Scops seem to look a bit on the funny side growing up
