"“We will not be eliminating any benefits or services to Veterans or VA beneficiaries, and there will be no negative impact to VA health care, benefits or beneficiaries. We are always going to take care of Veterans at VA. Period,” VA press secretary Pete Kasperowicz said in a statement.”

This is all I can find… That they wanted to kill a bunch of consulting contracts. Nothing about the suicide hotline.

That does seem to be how he works… he fucks up a product, then throws a financial tantrum when people won’t buy his trash.

I’m betting very soon all new cop cars will be teslas. I wonder how cops will feel about this, since I bet a good percentage of them voted for Trump.

It has already started happening, and cops have hated them. A lot of the safety features are antithetical to how police are trained to drive. Imagine needing to fiddle with your touchscreen during a high speed chance, to disable automatic impact avoidance before the car will allow you to PIT the person you’re chasing.

They also hate how small the interiors are. Many have complained that they’re only able to fit one cuffed person into the back seat, so calls with multiple arrests always require multiple cars to drive the suspects back to the station.
