    Dems can capitalize on Republican cowardice by holding their own town halls in nearby districts where R politicians can’t be bothered to show up. Bernie and a few others have already started doing this.

    It is literally their job to listen to and represent their constituents. Shouldn’t refusal to do that get them fired? It would in any other job!

    If the politicians won’t come to the voters, sounds like we need to go to them. DC, local offices, homes - let them FEEL the public sentiment.

    All it takes is two House members siding with Dems for a tie, and three for a Dem majority.

    Republican leadership knows that, and that’s why they trying to ban townhalls.
