    Fascinating. But I wouldn’t count watching 1-2-3-1-2-1-3-2-1 as watching 1-2-3, 1-3-2, 2-3-1, 2-1-3, 3-1-2, 3-2-1. It might make sense for some applications, but for watching a series you’d really have to watch each permutation in full.

      Why not? It’s the same thing, you just have to change your frame of reference as to which episode was ‘first’ for each permutation
