Most of us new and joining this site, like myself, are probably here from Reddit. Just wanted to post this to kick up some activity, since the last post also appears to be 9 months old, and want to encourage more activity here.
So is this like… fascist idiot macho prepping? Or science and evidence backed, “prepare for the worst hope for the best” prepping?
There’s another prepping community here also. There’s a bit of an overlap, sure. I think one is more about just news events, the other actually prepping.
Either way, answer is yes 🤣

Deleted my Reddit account entirely a few weeks ago, I’m glad we have an alternative.

Same. The prepper and some of my local subs are the only thing i still check reddit for and I’m looking to get off there entirely.
Wonder if we can convince the mods there to put in a sticky post their respective lemmy community?
