The boomer in me laughs boisterously at the news.

It’s of course unfortunate, and I am admittedly victim-blaming here, but I can’t really understand how the two thought it’s a good idea to leave the phone where they left it to do their dance. Sure, it’s 2am, and there’s not a lot of people in the streets, but someone can just grab the phone without the two being able to do about it. (And someone did!) Yung ngang nasa kamay mo na eh kaya pang hablutin eh, yun pa kayang nakalapag lang?

Besides, it’s a lot better if there’s someone watching the video as it records.

I really hope it serves as a painful reminder for the two of them of the importance of … IDK, common sense?? Ang harsh ata. Let me put it this way: Unless you’re really secure in your surroundings, or have deemed it a risk worth taking, just don’t leave your valuables away from you. I don’t even pull out my phone unnecessarily when I’m in transit. It is just common sense to me, but I guess not everyone thinks so.

I’m sorry, but I had to stifle a laugh on the first piece of news. Dude just casually walked and took the phone from where the girls placed it, and didn’t even run away that quickly. I do agree that it was partly (mostly) the girls fault for just leaving it like that anyway, and not being quick enough to secure it when that guy was approaching.

As for the 2nd piece of news, such is the risk of being a thief. Sure, he didn’t deserve to die, but if he didn’t attempt to steal from a place (especially one on a higher floor level) then he would still be alive right now.
