Hello,

I have trouble connecting my Aurora Corne split kb (wireless) to my MacBook Pro 2021 M1 (OS X version 13.4) – this is a work laptop, so re-installing the OS is not an option. Other Bluetooth devices work as expected. I suspect it has to do with Mac’s Bluetooth or the firmware. It worked for a few minutes, but then it stopped working, and I tried flashing the firmware again, renaming the keyboard, etc. but think it has just gotten worse.

I have flashed the ZMK firmware here.

I have another laptop that runs on Ubuntu, which seems to be able to connect to the wireless kbd. When I look for Bluetooth devices with Bluez, it seems there are multiple keyboards/different MAC addresses, idk.

I have tried all the solutions I can find for making the MacBook “forget” all previous connections/Bluetooth devices, including deleting files, resetting the service, etc.

Has anyone been through a similar situation, or could give any advice? Thanks

You could try asking SplitKB for support.

could be a problem with the board itself, maybe using the high power option on ZMK could be worth a shot too

    Things you could try:

    • reset the keyboard (both halves)
    • make sure the board is set to wireless mode
    • make sure the board isn’t connecting to another device
    • make sure the board is talking to the correct pairing partner (ZMK can be paired to multiple devices at the same time)

You may need to put the appropriate keycodes into your keymap for this, see the ZMK docs.
