The article says that pihole doesn’t work on a pi zero but while a wired connection is better I’ve been using pihole on a pi zero w for years now without issues
I’ve been running a variation of this as an add-on in my HomeAssistant installation, and it works well. I just wish there was a way to block YouTube ads.
Ublock for pc, smarttube for TV.
isponsorblock and isponsorblocktv are pretty good options for muting/blocking ads and skipping sponsored content
